Rates & Insurance


Rates
Our in-office consultation, clinical supervision, and psychotherapy rates range from $100-$150 per 50-minute session, depending on the clinician's training, licensure/certification, and experience.  Initial appointments are 90-minutes and fees range from $125-$225 per session.  Home-based or school-based services will include additional fees for travel, although psychoeducational or behavioral evaluations are offered at a standard rate for each assessment package. Fees for speaking engagements can be coordinated with our team members individually.  Your clinician will provide you with their specific fee arrangements at the initiation of service.  Please feel free to discuss rates with your clinician.  Reduced fees are available on a very limited basis.

 

Insurance
The clinicians at Chester Springs Clinical Associates, LLC do not elect to accept insurance as payment for professional services. Our decision to not accept direct insurance payments is based on the possibility that such an arrangement may have the potential to compromise a patient‛s privacy.  We accept payment directly from our patients only.  Most families are then able to submit their record of payment to their insurance companies in order to receive out-of-network reimbursement.  Please call your insurance company to ask about your individual plan's out-of-network benefits, and to determine if there is a deductible that must first be met.  Receipts for payment are provided to patients, and these receipts contain all information that is required by insurance companies in order to provide reimbursement. These receipts can be submitted to your insurer to apply toward your medical deductible and/or obtain reimbursement for our professional services.  Some families also utilize medical accounts, pre-tax dollar spending accounts, and others use grant money that has been secured for such a purpose. Remember that if you have a FSA (Flexible Spending Account),you can use funds through your FSA to cover costs of private pay, fee-for-service therapy or deductibles, saving you more than 25% of the cost (since you are using pre-tax dollars).

 

Payment
Cash, check, paypal, venmo and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. For your convenience, payment can also be made through the Payment tab on this website.  While we are happy to accpet the payment method that works best for you, we always appreciate payment with cash or check which saves us from paying the banks transfer fees.  

 

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the stated amount charged by your clinician.  This information will be provided to you through your particular therapist's Agreement for Service Contract.
